- Account & Profile Data: Full name, email address, country, and a hashed version of your password.
- Financial & Payout Data: To facilitate your Creator Marketplace earnings or business subscriptions, we collect your bank name, bank account number, DuitNow QR codes, and Stripe customer/subscription IDs.
- User-Generated Content & AI Inputs: Text prompts, reference images, video uploads, and resulting AI-generated media.
- Biometric-like & Facial Data: If you use our "Dynamic Creator" feature, you may upload profile pictures or reference images containing your face. We extract and process the visual geometry of these images solely to generate your requested AI output.
- Automated Tracking & Analytics: IP addresses, browser types, and tracking identifiers (such as the anderro_vid visitor ID) collected automatically when you navigate our platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We do not use your data for hidden purposes. We use your Personal Data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Synterial platform (e.g., routing your prompts to AI engines to generate images/videos).
- Process secure payments and issue marketplace payouts to your bank or DuitNow account.
- Track affiliate referrals and correctly attribute signup and upgrade commissions.
- Ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
3. Information Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. However, to provide our services, we securely share specific data with operational third parties:
- AI Infrastructure Partners (e.g., OpenRouter, Google): When you generate content, your text prompts and base64-encoded reference images are securely transmitted to third-party API providers (such as OpenRouter) to process the generation.
- Payment Processors (Stripe): Your email and payment details are shared with Stripe to securely process subscription upgrades.
- Affiliate Tracking (Anderro): If you register or upgrade, your email address and visitor ID are shared with Anderro to attribute affiliate commissions.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your data if required by law, subpoena, or government request.
4. AI Training and Creator Rights
We believe in protecting creators. Synterial does not use your private uploads, text prompts, or generated outputs to train our own foundational AI models. Furthermore, we contractually utilize third-party API providers (like OpenRouter) under strict API agreements that prohibit them from using your input data to train their models. You retain all ownership rights to your inputs and the resulting commercial rights to your generated outputs, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies to maintain your session and track affiliate referrals. Specifically, we utilize third-party cookies from Anderro (anderro_vid) to detect if you were referred by an affiliate. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may disable affiliate tracking and certain platform functionalities.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfers (Notice to Malaysian & International Users)
Synterial operates globally. Your data, including sensitive financial information (such as Malaysian bank details and DuitNow QR codes), is stored in our primary databases but may be routed through or stored on servers located in the United States and the European Union (via Stripe and OpenRouter). By using Synterial, you explicitly consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your personal data outside of your home country (including outside of Malaysia, in compliance with Section 129 of the PDPA).
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including password hashing (bcrypt) and secure transit protocols (HTTPS/SSL). However, no internet transmission or electronic database is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide your personal and financial information at your own risk.
8. Data Retention and Your Deletion Rights
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with financial, tax, and legal obligations.
- Right to Erasure: You may delete your account and generated projects at any time via your Account Settings.
- Limitations: While clicking "Delete Account" immediately wipes your profile and generated assets from our local database, we may be legally required to retain transaction histories (such as marketplace payouts and Stripe invoices) for fraud prevention and tax compliance.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our platform involves financial transactions, creator payouts, and AI generation tools that are not suitable for minors. You must be at least 18 years old to use Synterial. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 18 without parental consent). If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete that account and data immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our codebase, integrations, or legal obligations. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page or via an account notification.
